So I’m a lawyer and budding entrepreneur, who is naturally bubbly. I like talking to people (but also like to listen), love asking questions, enjoy relationship and community building as well encouraging others.

I understand that everyone no matter how much they may or appear to have it together need an encouragement, confidence and joy boost from time to time and I strive to consistently give ambitious, millennial women that boost, so they can be empowered, accomplish their goals and live better lives.

The Evolution of RianeInspires

In 2012, as a junior I founded the Howard University Random Acts of Kindness Initiative (HURAKI). The mission was simply to increase the sense of camaraderie among the student body and brighten people’s day by letting them know that they were valued. We hosted events like “Free Hugs, Smiles, High Fives and Compliment Cards” in Blackburn (our student center). The efforts were really appreciated and embraced by campus.

Fast forward to 2017, I graduated from Howard and law school and found myself writing notes on my iPhone of inspirational messages that spoke to me and sharing them on Instagram. People would reach out thanking me for sharing and telling me how the posts really spoke to their situation. I continued to do this, eventually starting a separate Instagram page (@rianeinspires) solely dedicated to sharing and spreading joy, encouragement and confidence. The mission of RianeInspires is to empower, encourage and energize women to amplify their joy resulting in them confidently living joy-filled lives.
