Why Inspiration is Important to Me

When I feel inspired, it feels good. For me, it is literally like lighting a fire in my soul. When I am inspired, I feel moved to do something great. Inspiration can come in many forms for example it may come from God, people, ideas, or scenery. Each form always leaves me motivated to do more and feeling empowered to do so as well. I founded RianeInspires at a time when I needed to be inspired, and my hope is that the things that I share with you will resonate in a way that lets you know that you can do whatever it is you set your sights on and that you actually feel equipped to accomplish it.

Today, I felt inspired in a way I haven’t felt in a while. I recently started a new job at a company whose mission literally includes inspiring people and that has values that closely align with my personal values. I have leaders all around me who I can not only learn from, but also look up to and have characteristics that I want to emulate. The fire within me is burning deeply in a way that it has not in a while. I am ready to get to work because I know my work will be impactful and have meaning beyond what my eye will see. And no, I’m not curing cancer, but I am a part of a group of people that cares about people and makes decisions as well as big and little efforts every day from a human perspective. In a world that often doesn’t seem to do the same, it feels good.

So in a nutshell, inspiration is important to me because it affects how I feel. I feel my best when I’m inspired. Of course, every day may not be a 10, BUT there will be 10s. Today was a 10.
